Greg Denning – National President

National President Russell Anderson and the National Executive Committee warmly welcome Greg Denning as the Society’s 78th National
President. Since 2013 Greg has been with independent powerhouse STUDIOCANAL, in the National Sales & Acquisitions Manager role. In that role he acquired and distributed successful titles like Knives Out, Unhinged, Hereditary, Ballerina and Mother’s Day, and initiated the STUDIOCANAL Cultivator Development Fund for local feature film development.

Before Studiocanal, he spent eleven years at Icon Film Distribution (since its inception), first as Sales Manager, and subsequently General
Manager. In that period he oversaw the release of over 200 films theatrically, including Bend It Like Beckham, Crash, The Queen, Slumdog Millionaire and Death At A Funeral. Before Icon, he spent 13 years with Hoyts Cinemas, in both Marketing and Programming roles. He has also served as President of the Australian Independent Distributors Association and twice as Vice-President.
