Yurik Czyz – President, Tasmanian Branch
Yurik Czyz was employed in the cinema exhibition side of the industry, all in Tasmania for 34 years. Commencing in 1973 and finishing in 2008. Commenced as a trainee projectionist and eventually finishing as the Tasmanian Marketing/Operations Manager for Village Cinemas. Yurik was elected as Tasmanian State President of the Pioneers in 2003 and continues in that role 21 years later.
